English language arts teacher Victor Taylor Perry fired up the projector and dimmed the lights. The classroom transformed into an arena.

These daily lunchtime gatherings aren’t just about body slams and three counts. 

The students watch professional wrestling to gather, grow and broaden their horizons as they transition from childhood to adolescence. Perry calls pro wrestling his version of a soap opera. He has found ways to connect with his students through this form of athletic theater, an ongoing series of storylines and characters that appeal to the various emotions of the viewer.

When a pizza delivery driver walked away from the door of an affluent house with nothing but a $2 tip, he didn’t realize it would change his life.

$2 dollars doesn’t sound like much, but it earned the attention of a local police officer, who, astounded and distraught with the lack of generosity shown to the driver, set up a GoFundMe to try and help him out.

On Sunday, Feb. 2, the “16 Carriages” singer, 43, dropped the announcement that she is embarking on her Cowboy Carter Tour following the release of her eponymous country themed album.

“COWBOY CARTER TOUR 2025,” the caption read, confirming the news.

A Call To 911?

A Wisconsin deputy sheriff fielded an unusual call from a child last week.

The call originated from a 10 year old for help with math homework.

Dispatcher Kim Krause answered the call on Nov. 15th, and after informing the child the emergency line isn’t for homework help, offered to assist nonetheless.

Pizza Hut outlets in China have introduced a unique dish that’s causing quite a stir on social media.

It’s called the Goblin Pizza and it includes a deep fried bullfrog as a topping.

It’s A Bear!?

Four people in Southern California were arrested and accused of insurance fraud after they claimed their cars were trashed by a bear.

An individual dressed in a bear costume made fake attacks on cars for insurance payout, California officials say.

A spokesperson for the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office said that charges have been submitted against the four people arrested and that the cases are under review for a decision on charges.
